As I arrived at Highcliffe Castle in Dorset on a beautiful sunny day, overlooking the sea views and coast of the Isle of Wight, I knew it was going to be a magical day. The stunning backdrop of the castle combined with the clear blue skies made for the perfect setting for Lydia and Sam's wedding day.
The morning started with bridal prep at Lydia's home, where I captured special moments shared between her and her parents and bridesmaids. The excitement and nerves in the air were palpable as everyone prepared for the big day ahead.
After a heartfelt ceremony at the Christchurch Priory, I followed the newlyweds and their guests to Highcliffe Castle. The picturesque surroundings provided the ideal backdrop for capturing candid moments and heartfelt interactions between the couple and their loved ones.
The afternoon was filled with laughter, sunshine, and ice cream on the castle grounds. I took a fly on the wall approach, capturing real and candid moments as they unfolded. The golden hour sunset cast a warm glow over the castle, creating a romantic and timeless atmosphere that translated beautifully in my photographs.
As the evening celebrations kicked off, I continued to document the fun and joyful moments shared between the couple and their guests. From games on the lawn to glow sticks on the dance floor, I made sure to capture every moment so that Lydia and Sam could relive their special day for years to come.
